Bindi Irwin announces huge new career change which has left fans shocked

Bindi Irwin has made an exciting new career change...

Bindi Irwin has announced a huge new career change - and people are *so* excited about it.

Bindi, 25, who is the daughter of the late Steve Irwin, revealed she's branching into an exciting new career direction.

Bindi has certainly inherited Steve's love of animals, and is a wildlife conservationist at the family's Australia Zoo in Queensland.

She's also mum to her daughter, Grace, who she welcomed with husband Chandler Powell back in 2021.

And her recent career change is expected to be a big hit with her daughter, after Bindi explained she'd be getting involved in a popular Australian kids' TV show.

Taking to social media, Bindi shared a photo on Instagram announcing she would be narrating a Bluey audiobook.

"Introducing The Creek, read by Bindi Irwin. Watch the full read on Bluey TV," the post read.

Bindi added in the comments: "Love you Bluey and Bingo!"

Bluey is a hugely popular show in Australia, and has also made its way over to the UK with kids loving the cartoon, which focuses on a family of dogs.

So it makes sense that Bindi's followers would be going wild over the news.

One person wrote: "The crossover we needed!"

While another said: "WACKADOO! This is the one I've been waiting for!"

And a third added: "CROSSOVER OF A LIFETIME are you kidding I am so excited."

Meanwhile a fourth said: "We need an episode of them going to the zoo and meeting them."

Bindi shared the news on Instagram.

Others reckon that Bindi probably watches loads of Bluey with her daughter, with one adding: "She probably watches the show with Grace regularly."

Bindi has previously revealed that her daughter Grace is ‘captivated’ by videos of her late granddad, adding that she even sees a resemblance between her little one and dad, Steve.

She told PEOPLE: "We have so many documentaries of Dad, and we're always playing them for Grace.

"It's so fun to watch her study him. I didn't realise how much Dad's passion for life and his animated facial expressions - I mean, they captivate her."

She added: "I definitely see parts of [Dad] in Grace. His determination and his inability to sit still. I think that's really special. I'm excited to see as she grows up how her personality will develop. If Dad was around, honestly, we would never see her. He would be in love.

"He'd just have her doing everything with him. We would only see her if she needed a feed and then be gone again."
