Billy Ray Cyrus has revealed all when it comes to his and Elizabeth Hurley’s shocking romance and even gave a peek into the texts she sent him.
The 63-year-old country singer and the 59-year-old model and actress shook up the internet when they confirmed their relationship after rumours began to circulate online.
The pair took to Instagram on Easter Sunday (20 April), posting a snap of them both cosied up against a fence, as they released a joint message.
Hurley was wearing blue denim jeans and a blue plaid button-up shirt, and Cyrus donned a denim shirt with black-and-red striped pants.
With him kissing her cheek, there was no question that they were confirming their unlikely romance.

Hurley previously sparked speculation online about a possible romance with Cyrus earlier this month (9 April) when she used his1992 track, 'She’s Not Cryin’ Anymore' in the background for an Instagram post in a bikini.
She also tagged him in said post, so in hindsight, it was pretty obvious that they were dating.
Anyway, now that everyone is proper in the mood to get all of the details about their relationship, Cyrus has finally spilled the beans.
Talking like a loved-up teen, he spoke on Apple Music Country’s The Ty Bentli Show, sharing that it all began after divorcing his Aussie ex-wife Firerose in 2024, and his phone pinged with a text message.
“I felt like, ‘Wow, can life get any harder? Can it get any tougher?’ For me, at a certain point it was like, you can’t get knocked down any flatter than laying on your back when life is kicking you,” the singer said. “And in this moment... a friend reached out.”
According to Cyrus, she said: “Hey, it looks like life might be a little bit tough and just wanted you to know I’m in your corner; you’ve got a friend in your corner.”
However, Hurley texted from a number he didn’t recognise and so he had to respond to find out who was on the other end of the conversation.
He revealed: “So, I text back, I go, 'Who is this?' And it’s like, 'Elizabeth Hurley'. Of all the people to reach out to me in that second that maybe I needed most… this friend who made me laugh.”
The pair hadn’t spoken in ‘two years’ after wrapping up their 2022 Christmas in Paradise movie, but he shared that ‘there was a chemistry’ on set, despite their sparce scenes together.
He explained: “We just laughed, and it was at a time I wasn’t laughing a lot. The oddest part was first, how much we laughed. Second, I figured we were so different but in some very strange way we had way more in common than we had different.”
“[Elizabeth is] so impressively brilliant. She reminds me a lot of Dolly Parton,” Cyrus added. “She’s a very smart businesswoman. If you can laugh together, you can make it through everything.”
Previously, Cyrus was married to Tish, who he had been with for 28 years before calling it quits a couple of years ago.
