What Ariana Grande actually said about Pete Davidson's manhood after he gave her savage response back to NSFW remark

The Wicked actress and SNL funny-man dated for five months in 2018

She's the name on everybody's lips once again following the last week's release of the Wicked: For Good trailer, but back in 2018, Ariana Grande went viral online for a different reason altogether.

At the time, the pop singer was dating SNL funny-man Pete Davidson, with the pair enjoying what appeared to be a whirlwind romance, littered with matching tattoos, engagement rings and even song dedications.

Grande announced at the time that one of the songs from her best-selling album Sweetener had been named after the comedian, using his full name as the title.

Despite singing, 'Universe must have my back / Fell from the sky into my lap / And I know you know that you're my soulmate and all that', the pair sadly split several months after Davidson, now 31, popped the question.

Before they called things a day, Grande teased her fans after one queried how long the track 'Pete Davidson' actually was.

"How long is Pete?" the follower asked the musician on Twitter, before quickly firing off the follow-up: "OH AS IN THE INTERLUDE NOT AS IN….. ANYWAY."

In response, Grande, also 31, had some fun of her own, boasting about her then-lover in a hilarious quip. "Like 10 inches? …. Oh f**k …. I mean … like a lil over a minute," she joked.

The former Victorious star's comment immediately set tongues wagging all over the world, and while her relationship with Davidson wasn't to last, her X-rated joke went down in pop culture history.

Davidson also reaped the rewards of his new 'BDE' (big d**k energy) symbol, going on to date a stream of A-list beauties - including Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qualley, Emily Ratajkowski, Phoebe Dynevor and Kaia Gerber.

Despite his impressive dating history, however, the comic later claimed during his 2020 Netflix special Alive in New York that his ex-girlfriend's remark had come with its fair share of negatives.

"I don’t like that she talked all that sh*t for my penis," Davidson began, before referencing the musician's 5'3" height.

"Everything is huge to her. Why would she tell everyone that I have a huge penis?

"So that every girl who sees my d**k for the rest of my life is disappointed."

Former flame Kardashian went on to admit she'd caught wind of Davidson's generous package, sharing on a 2022 episode of The Kardashians: "I wasn't even thinking, 'Oh my God, I'm gonna be in a relationship with him.'

"I was just thinking like, 'Heard about this BDE, need to get out there'."
