Wicked co-stars Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater reportedly split 'months ago'.
A source told PEOPLE in a report published Monday (8 June) that the pair have called it quits after nearly three years of dating.
"It’s amicable; they gave lots of time and careful consideration and decided to go their separate ways," the source told the outlet. "They are still friends and very supportive of one another. They have been quietly broken up for several months."
The insider added that Grande is 'doing great' and has been focused on her Eternal Sunshine tour, which kicked off last week (6 June), as well as the upcoming release of her album Petal set to drop next month (31 July)

Tyla has reached out to Ariana Grande's representatives for further comment.

The 32-year-old 'Thank U Next' singer previously split from her now-ex-husband Dalton Gomez in early 2023, while Slater, 34, separated from his wife Lilly Jay in the same year. The pair had been romantically involved since they were teenagers, marrying in 2018 and welcoming their first child together in 2022.
Grande and Slater previously addressed rumours of cheating and infidelity which surrounded their relationship at the time.
Slater said in an interview for GQ in September 2024: "I think there was something that was really difficult about things in your private life being commented on and looked at by the public.
"There were a lot of big changes in private lives that were really happening, so it's really hard to see people who don't know anything about what's happening commenting on it."

Meanwhile, Grande told Vanity Fair that same month: "The most disappointing part was to see so many people believe the worst version of it.
"There couldn’t be a less accurate depiction of a human being than the one that the tabloids spread about him."
Back in November 2025, a source told PEOPLE that the Wicked co-stars, who had been romantically linked since July 2023, were 'making it work' despite their very full-on work schedules.
"They both have a lot going on, but their relationship is the real deal," the source claimed at the time. "They’re incredibly supportive of each other’s careers and so excited for everyone to see their new film."
In the box-office smash hits Wicked, which hit cinemas in 2024, and Wicked: For Good, which came out the following year, Grande plays Glinda while Slater stars opposite her as Boq.
