After the sudden death of Euphoria’s Angus Cloud, his co-stars have paid tribute to the late actor.

It’s after the 25-year-old’s tragic passing was announced on July 31, sadly only a week after burying his father.

Among those paying tribute to North Hollywood actor was Alexa Demie, Storm Reid and showrunner, Sam Levinson.

The writer and creator of the hit HBO show shared a statement after the sad announcement and called Cloud ‘too talented’ in the short tribute.

Levinson wrote: “There was no one quite like Angus. He was too special, too talented and way too young to leave us so soon.”

The Euphoria creator then spoke about the actor’s mental health struggles, which had worsened following the death of his dad, Conor Hickey.

Continuing, he added: “He also struggled, like many of us, with addiction and depression. I hope he knew how many hearts he touched. I loved him. I always will. Rest in peace and God Bless his family.”

Alexa Demie, who played Maddy Perez on the show, also paid tribute to her late co-star by sharing a simple heartbreak emoji on Instagram – moments after the news was announced.

Others also shared their sorrow at the sudden loss of Cloud, with Storm Reid also paying tribute to the actor on social media.

Sharing a clip of his Euphoria character Fez, she simply wrote: “The tears just won’t stop.”

Musician Kid Cudi, who’d work on the series’ soundtrack, also tweeted about Cloud and told his followers: “This hurts man…One of the realest dudes in this business. F***.”

Model Gigi Hadid, who only worked with Cloud a handful of times, said: “Just saw the news about the loss of Angus.

“I only got to work with him a couple of times, but I was immediately drawn to his kind, gentle spirit. My deepest condolences to his closest and loved ones.

“May he rest in peace.”

More tributes are still coming in for the young star, whose tragic death was announced yesterday by his family.

It read: “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways,” they said.

“Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.

“Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”

The actor is survived by his mum, Lisa Cloud Hickey, and his two sisters, Molly and Fiona.
