We guess we're 'common' then...

Is there anything nicer than an ice cold glass of rosé in the sun? We didn't think so.

But according to This Morning's boss, putting ice cubes in your wine is actually a 'common' habit... okay then.

Watch the clip for yourselves...

The comment came to light on Monday morning's episode of the ITV show, when Holly Willoughby, 39, said that she too liked an icey vino.

"I do if I'm sitting outside with a glass of white or rosé actually, I will," she said while chatting with Phillip Schofield, 58.

Phil grimaced at the concept, and Holly remarked: "Is that really bad?"

But before they could go on with the discussion, Holly gasped and laughed: "The editor's just said something outrageous in my ear!"

"The editor's just shouted out 'Common!'," Phil told viewers. "Good heavens!'

"I understand," Holly added. "I get it though, because it's supposed to dilute the wine but I like really, really cold white and rosé wine."

We agree, hun. If that makes you common then we guess we are too.

"I always put ice in a glass of beer #common #cheers," one person wrote in solidarity with Holly.

While another penned: "Yes I love ice cubes in it it's lush!"

A third chipped in with a genius piece of advice for Hols and any fellow icey wine drinkers.

"Heres a little tip for you @hollywills why don't you freeze some wine in ice cube trays so it keeps your wine cool also it won't dilute it".

Life changing.

This Morning has continued running throughout the coronavirus pandemic, but with a reduced team and strict social distancing measures in place.

Holly and Phil have had to stay two metres apart at all times on set, and there are significantly less crew too.

The pair even gave us a glimpse inside the empty backstage area as they did their own makeup at the start of lockdown.

It isn't the only show adapting to big changes. Lorraine Kelly now appears on Good Morning Britain with Piers Morgan for the final hour, instead of hosting her own programme, and the soaps have also stopped filming, and are running on reduced schedules.
