Witchy sisterhood, assemble. Halloween's a-comin' - and soon you'll be able to watch the remake of classic 90s supernatural thriller The Craft in celebration.

Available to purchase or rent on Amazon Prime from 28th October, The Craft: Legacy will arrive in time for the spookiest night of the year.

The 1996 original, which followed coven of American teen witches who wield their supernatural powers against all who cross them, gained cult status, sparking fan art, fanfiction and even merch.

There was teen drama, friendship, spellbinding magic, and a bigger collection of chokers and crucifix earrings than you could shake a witch's broomstick at.

All of which means that the new flick has a lot to live up to - but given that it's written and directed by Zoe Lister-Jones (Life in Pieces), and produced by horror movie giant Blumhouse Productions, it has some pretty big credentials behind it.

Starring in the 2020 film are Cailee Spaeny, Gideon Adlon, Lovie Simone and Zoey Luna.

Elsewhere on the cast list are Michelle Monaghan, David Duchovny, Nicholas Galitzine, Charles Vandervaart, Donald MacLean Jr., Hannah Gordon, Julian Grey, and Zoey Luna.

The reboot follows co-lead character Hannah as she joins a new school and befriends Tabby, Lourdes, and Frankie.

As the fourth member of the clique, Hannah quickly learns that she brings great power to the quartet.

So, we can assume that the new version will have a similar plot to the original film - which is fine in our (spell)book.

Hold on to your witch's hats for this spooky remake. We can't wait to see what Lister-Jones will do with one of our favourite 90s classics.

The Craft will be available to watch from 28th October on Amazon Prime, with the option to either purchase or rent.
