Earlier this month, new show Hollywood dropped on Netflix and ever since, viewers have been taking to social media to praise the series for its brilliant plot and all-star cast.

Many have taken to Twitter to gush about the show, with one calling it the "best series on Netflix" and others admitting they were left speechless over the drama.

If you're yet to watch, it's set post World War II and follows a group of aspiring actors and filmmakers living in Hollywood, as they try to make it big.

It's the 'Golden Age' of Hollywood, and each character will stop at nothing to create a name for themselves.

The seven-part series shines a light on biases across gender, sexuality and race, examining the dynamics of the entertainment industry and ultimately depicting a version of what could have happened, had these biases died out 100 years ago (and what the industry could look like now as a result).

As well as a stellar plot, there's a very impressive cast too, with David Corenswet (The Politician) playing Jack, Darren Criss (Glee, American Crime Story) as Raymond, Jeremy Pope (The Ranger) as Archie, Laura Harrier (One Life To Live, Unforgettable) as Camille, Samara Weaving (Home and Away) as Claire and Dylan McDermott (American Horror Story) as Ernie.

Holland Taylor also stars as Ellen Kincaid while Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory) plays Henry Willson, Joe Mantello stars as Dick and Maude Apatow (Girls) as Henrietta.

And fans have been blown away by the series so far, with several taking to Twitter to say they were left "speechless".

One wrote: "I have no words other than: if you haven't already, watch Hollywood on Netflix. I'm speechless."

While another said: "Like, I'm speechless that's how amazing it is."

"Netflix series "Hollywood"...all I can say is WOW I'm def speechless," wrote another.

Others went as far as to say it's the best series they've seen on Netflix, with one viewer adding: "I just finished Hollywood on @netflix and it was phenomenal!"

Executive produced by co-creators Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan, all seven episodes are currently available to watch on Netflix. We don't know about you but we can feel a binge-watch coming on.

In fact, we're aiming to get through all seven in two evenings...
