What do the Islanders do at the weekend?

Watching Love Island can feel a bit like a full-time job.

Yep, we all put our social lives on hold for two months and set our alarms for 9pm every. single. night.

Except on Saturday nights where the format is a little different. Instead of the usual set-up, it's a roundup episode of missed bits from the week in the Love Island: Unseen Bits show.

Which leaves us all wondering...what DO the Islanders get up to on a Saturday?

Well, it turns out they all have a well-deserved day off, which considering they have a six-day week of filming seems pretty justified to us.

Although that six-day week does just consist of playing games, making moves and sunbathing by a pool.

Anyways.

Kem Cetinay, who won the show back in 2017 with Amber Davies revealed what happens at the weekend when the cameras aren't around.

"Most people don't know this but islanders get a day off every week from the show," the former Love Islander explained.

"What happens is it gives them a day to clean the whole villa. Normally we go to the beach and we just chill out. There are no microphones."

But don't worry, this doesn't mean that we miss out on any juicy chats.

Phew!

The producers are on hand to stop the Islanders from discussing any villa antics.

Kem added, "You're not allowed to talk about anything to do with the show or the couples, you have to talk about home-life and things.

"And you're being watched by an eagle hawk, by the producers because they don't want you to talk about what's going on"

That makes total sense! And it also explains how the Islanders get to know about each other's home lives too.

Minds blown.

Oh how we would LOVE to be a producer on that show.
