You know when you think you know a person, and in a split second, everything you thought you knew is shattered beyond return?

Well, that's exactly the assault of emotions Gogglebox viewers went through during the most recent episode when they discovered Jenny Newby's caravan actually belongs to her pal, Lee Riley.

The pair of best friends have been fixtures on the Channel 4 show since 2014, giving their hilarious verdicts on the nation's TV from the comfort of a mobile home in Hull.

For some reason, we always just assumed it was the former landlady's cosy little home, until Lee jokingly set her packing at the end of Saturday's episode.

Jenny asked him: "Just think Lee, what you going to do when I go home? I'll miss you when I go home. Have you bought me a leaving present?"

He replied: "Yeah. A f***ing suitcase."

Like we said: reality = shattered.

The pair have been allowed to film the current series together as they've been isolating with one another since the lockdown started.

However, with the series ending, he jokingly kicked her out which left viewers shocked that it was his place all along. It also prompts the question: where the F does Jenny live?

The mind-blowing news comes as the Channel 4 show wrapped for its latest season.

The show came under fire at first when fans noted that Ellie and Izzi Warner were filming together, despite not living in the same household.

However, Channel 4 responded: "Most of the families live together but where they don't, they are complying with PHE [Public Health England] social distancing guidelines.

"Gogglebox will only film with families where it's safe to do so. The health and safety of our cast and crew is paramount."

The channel also announced the upcoming series of Celebrity Gogglebox, with Love Island power couple Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling among the stars taking to their sofas.
