I'm A Celebrity Viewers Baffled After Vegan Contestants Eat Meat

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! has gotten off to a cracking start and we're only two days in, but viewers have already been left confused to see vegan contestants seemingly eating meat.

Before the series began, it was revealed Sair Khan, Fleur East and James McVey would be exempt from taking part in Bushtucker Trials where they may have to eat animals, which makes perfect sense.

However, it looks the vegan contestants may have already broken their lifestyle choice as viewers spotted them appearing to eat meat.

On Monday night's episode, Emily Atack gave her all during the Viper Pit Bushtucker Trial, and came back with some stars to provide campers at Snake Rock with some meals.

Obviously, the yellow team will have been absolutely starving, considering all they had was rations of beans and rice the night before, and were thrilled to hear they'd be rewarded with some more substantial food.

While some viewers expected I'm A Celeb bosses to cater for the vegan campmates, instead they were offered wallaby wings.

But, instead of going back to vegan friendly rations, both Fleur and James tucked into the wings, which left viewers completely baffled.

The previous night, over in the main camp, Sair was heard talking about eating Emu, which we're pretty sure also isn't vegan friendly.

"I'm so confused!" one viewer tweeted. "I thought Sair, Fleur and James were all vegan/vegetarian... but I swear Sair ate the Emu and Fleur ate the wings???#ImACeleb."

Others pointed out that the scones and cream Anne and Fleur requested from Kiosk Keith wouldn't be vegan either...

But, one viewer sensibly pointed out that they're probably not strict vegans, and she even did a bit of research to back up her claim.

"So, that article a few days ago claiming there's 3 vegans in camp, so no animal eating tasks but now they've been seen eating meat... I did some sleuthing and found this," she wrote.

"Fleur is vegan; but for fitness, not animals/environment. James is a vegetarian. Sair is neither! #ImACeleb."
