We love a good limited-edition Monopoly board, and we think the newest release could be our favourite yet, as it includes all the best bad guys from the best Disney movies.

Yep, Hasbro has just released a new version of the Disney Villains Edition of the classic board game, and it encourages players to scheme and steal their way to winning. Basically in this game, nice guys finish last.

First things first: picking your character. You can choose to be either Cruella de Vil (101 Dalmatians), Hook (Peter Pan), Scar (The Lion King), the Evil Queen (Snow White), Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty) or Aladdin's Jafar, so there's a pretty solid selection of villains on the board. The character you pick impacts the game though, as each has a unique ability you can use throughout - with your token comes a card telling you what the ability is ranging from the power to re-roll the die to stealing coins - so be sure to pick wisely.

While it's not the first time Hasbro has released a villain's edition, this time the game is even more interactive, with a number of twists to add a little more excitement to the game. Ursula, King Candy, Gaston, Yzma and other baddies also make an appearance, too.

So, what's new? Well for starters, instead of purchasing properties, you're purchasing other villains' loyalties to build your best gang of Disney baddies. Standard Monopoly bills have also been scrapped for gold and silver coins that are decorated with Jafar's snake and the Evil Queen's crown, and of course, you still have to make sure you have the most money at the end.

Our fave addition to the game is the new set of 16 Poison Apple cards that ask players to steal money, property, or send another player to jail, so you'd better watch your back. Also be sure to keep your eyes peeled because if you don't notice a player on your property, they don't have to pay you rent.

If you're short on time, the entire game is designed to be played in 45 minutes or less, so it's pretty fast-paced compared to a lot of Monopoly editions - longtime fans of the original will notice a few there are fewer spaces on the board and only one die.

The game is available now, and you can get your hands on it here. We'll be snapping this up in time for Halloween!
