The third season of Haunted has dropped on Netflix - just in time for a weekend binge watch.

The freaky series landed today (14th May) and we can't wait to scare ourselves silly on the real-life hauntings. Even the trailer is terrifying!

You can watch it below:

If you're yet to watch the eery show, we recommend you do so immediately.

The Netflix Original series recalls real life supernatural experiences, with each episode focusing on different stories.

Previous ghostly happenings include a US marine who came face to face with a daemon in Afghanistan, a boy who grey up convinced he had an evil figure named The Hangman stalking his family, and a woman who keeps hearing her room-mates' voices in her house.

The show - which is made by the same people behind The Purge - also focuses on other horrifying stories, including a man's experience of conversion therapy and one woman who claims she was abducted by aliens.

It's best not to watch the show alone... or after dark.

The third series will be made of six episodes - and if the trailer is anything to go by, we anticipate they'll be absolutely terrifying.

"It's important for me to tell this story, because I've been afraid to," one person explains in the clip. "The manifestations were reaching a crescendo, it couldn't be contained anymore."

Meanwhile another adds: "There was an evil in that house... he wanted blood."

From the teaser, it seems the season three episodes could focus on a satanic cult, a spooky mist, a chilling little girl and even an absolutely terrifying devil cat.

The official synopsis explains: "A chilling glimpse into the first-person accounts from people who have witnessed horrifying, peculiar, extraordinary supernatural events and other unexplained phenomena that continue to haunt them."

We've got a feeling we'll struggle sleeping after this one. You can catch all episodes on Netflix now.
