Katie Price and her son, Harvey, are being praised for their response to a technical gaffe on Good Morning Britain today.

The mother and son duo joined Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley on Monday to talk about their campaigning to end online trolling, as well as Harvey's nomination for a National Diversity Award.

But there was a brief blip in proceedings when part of the lighting equipment fell on top of Harvey mid-way through their interview on the ITV daytime show.

Watch a clip below:

As a crew member clambered in front of the camera to pick the equipment up, Katie was quick to reassure her son, and laugh the incident off like a true professional.

"Oh did that fall down? Don't worry, Harv," she said. "That's live TV for you.

"Let's just put that there, Harv."

However, he was clearly confused by what had just happened.

"Congratulation to Harvey as well, because he's shortlisted for celebrity of the year at the National Diversity Awards," Susanna said, seeking to carry on the interview.

But Harvey remained occupied by the earlier incident, turning to the crew member who was fixing the equipment in the sidelines, and asking: "What the f*** is that?".

"Harv, you were also voted celebrity of the year, that means the best man of the year - everyone's voted you for that," Katie said, hoping to quickly bring the chat back on track.

"Oh, yes!," he said.

"How does that make you feel?," she asked, to which he replied: "Happy!"

Cutting back to the studio, Richard said: "We just have to quickly say there was a little bit of inadvertent swearing earlier.

"It was completely inadvertent. Obviously if you were affected by it, we apologise.

"But I think we can live with it."

"Was that you, Richard?," Susanna joked.

To which he laughed back: "No it wasn't me, although I have done that."

Despite the faux pas, the overwhelming response to Harvey and Katie's appearance was a positive one.

During their TV appearance, Katie and Harvey also talked about how they had lost a court battle against one troll who shared a particularly offensive video of Harvey.

The man was cleared of mocking Harvey with the intention to offend in a video he shared online, where he was seen to be wearing blackface and impersonating Katie's eldest son.

"I was upset," said Katie. "Even in court when I was being cross-examined I made it clear - you must all have kids, I am a mother, and even how it makes me feel, seeing that of Harvey is really upsetting.

"It makes me angry. All I'm trying to do is my best to defend Harvey and be his voice to help protect everyone else.

"It's a no-brainer, everyone knows something should be in place. It's happening to everybody - footballers, MPs - it happens to everyone out there."

After watching the interview, one person wrote: "The one thing that can never be said about you @KatiePrice is that your a bad Mum. Your brilliant with Harvey and what a character he is. He's a lovely young man, a real credit to you and I'm so sorry he's had to suffer this sort of abuse. What is wrong with people".

While another penned: "Lovely to see @KatiePrice and Harvey on #gmb he's such a sweetheart! Disgusting how they get so much abuse! Keep going Katie! I for one will always have your back and support a change to make these trolls accountable! #harveyslaw".

"Harvey Price on @GMB what a ray of sunshine on a Monday morning. Adorable...," a third tweeted. "How individuals can be so vile, and then walk away scott free and have their identity protected by law is disgusting. Good Luck with your campaign @KatiePrice".
