Earlier this month we took a nostalgia-filled trip back to Wisteria Lane for a livestream reunion of noughties classic Desperate Housewives.

Key cast members Marcia Cross, Vanessa Williams, Brenda Strong, Dana Delaney and Eva Longoria made an appearance on the special episode of Stars in the House on Sunday 12th April.

The show brought back memories of the hit show, which ran for eight seasons until 2012 and won a devoted fanbase thanks to its ridiculous but oh-so-watchable storylines.

But where are the original cast members now? From lawsuits to bullying scandals, there's a whole lot of off-camera drama to catch up. Read on for the juicy details.

Felicity Huffman / Lynette Scavo

Huffman played hard-working mum Lynette Scavo in the popular noughties show. Later, she scooped the role of Jeanette Hesby in American Crime, winning three consecutive Emmy nominations for her performance.

The actress has appeared on TV series including crime-comedy Get Shorty and Harlem-set drama When They See Us.

In 2019, Huffman was charged by the FBI and U.S. Attorney General's office for her involvement in the well-documented college admissions scandal.

The star pleaded guilty to paying $15,000 (£11,500) to having her daughter's exam answers secretly corrected in 2017. She was ordered to serve 250 hours of community service and paid a $30,000 (£24,000) fine.

Since the scandal, Huffman has avoided the spotlight. Desperate Housewives fans will no doubt be interested to see what her next career move is.

Huffman's IRL husband is star of Fargo and Shameless, William H. Macy.

Eva Longoria / Gaby Solis

Outside of her acting career, Longoria was a founding member of the Time's Up movement (

After winning hearts as Gaby in the ABC megahit, Eva Longoria went on to executive produce Marc Cherry's TV series Desperate Maids, a follow up to Desperate Housewives broadcast on Lifetime.

Since then, her TV series work has included hip hop mogul drama Empire and Miami beach-based crime show Grand Hotel. Longoria also turned her hand to directing, getting behind the camera for comedy sitcoms Jane the Virgin and Black-ish.

Outside of acting, Longoria launched her own affordable clothing line in 2017. The actress likes to get behind a cause and was a founding member of Time's Up movement.

In 2019, Longoria wrote an open letter of support to her Housewives co-star Felicity Huffman, who was awaiting sentencing for her involvement in the college admissions scandal.

In the letter, Longoria hinted that the set of Desperate Housewives was plagued with bullying. While she didn't name names, the screen star said she "dreaded the days I had to go to work with that person."

Many fans assumed Longoria was referencing co-star Terri Hatcher, who is rumoured to have a rift with the rest of the cast.

Longoria married José Antonio "Pepe" Bastón Patiño, president of media company Televisa, in 2016. Their son, Santiago 'Santi' Enrique Bastón, arrived in 2018.

Marcia Cross / Bree Van de Camp

In 2019 Cross shared that she was in remission for anal cancer (

Original cast member Cross played the uptight, Stepford Wives-worthy Bree Van de Camp.

Between 2015 and 2017, she appeared as President Claire Haas in ABC's crime drama Quantico, about a suspected terrorist among young FBI recruits training at the Quantico base in Virginia. She also made appearances in American high school mini-series Youth & Consequences, playing Principal Cowher, and drama sitcom This Close.

In 2019 Cross shared that she was in remission for anal cancer after being diagnosed with the disease the previous year during a routine exam.

Cross revealed that the same type of HPV (or human papillomavirus, a sexually transmitted disease) had caused both her cancer and her long-time husband Tom Mahoney's throat cancer.

After learning that the types of HPV that most commonly cause cancer can be prevented by the current vaccine, the Housewives actress went on to promote HPV immunisation.

Teri Hatcher / Susan Mayer

We were all so invested in Teri Hatcher's character Susan Mayer and her relationship with hot plumber Mike Delfino.

Immediately after Housewives ended, the Hatcher played Kate Quimby in fashion world comedy sitcom Jane By Design.

Her later series work includes CBS comedy The Odd Couple and action-adventure sitcom Supergirl. The latter was on-brand for ex-Superman star Hatcher, being all about the adventures of Superman's cousin.

Hatcher loves cooking - in 2018 she appeared in the fifth episode of the first Great Celebrity Bake Off: Stand Up to Cancer - and shares her favourite recipes via her YouTube channel, 'Hatching Change'.

The star was notably absent from the Desperate Housewives cast's Stars in the House reunion on Sunday 12th April. Fans have long believed there to be a rift between Hatcher and the four other leading cast members.

Widespread rumours of an ongoing feud were heightened in when Eva Longoria wrote her open letter supporting Felicity Huffman in 2019, referencing a co-star's diva-like behaviour on set.

Nicollette Sheridan / Edie Britt

Nicolette Sheridan filed a $20 million lawsuit against the producer Marc Cherry (

Who could forget Nicollette Sheridan's feisty portrayal of Edie Britt?

There was big off-camera drama between Sheridan and show creator Marc Cherry.

Sheridan claimed that Cherry hit her across the face during an altercation on set and that he later killed off her fictional character on the show in retaliation to her complaints about the incident.

The actress went on to file a $20million (£16million) lawsuit against the producer, ABC and Touchstone Television, claiming assault and battery, wrongful termination, gender violence and discrimination based on sex.

Sheridan's lawsuit was deemed a mistrial and her attempts at an appeal were denied. Throughout the case, her co-stars supported Cherry.

Since leaving Housewives, Sheridan has appeared in The CW's reboot of iconic 80s show Dynasty as uber-glam Alexis Carrington and made-for-TV movies All Yours and Honeymoon For One.

The screen star wed Aaron Phypers in December 2015 but the marriage was short lived, with the couple divorcing less than a year later.

Dana Delany / Katherine

Fans knew Delany as the illusive Katherine Mayfair but may not know that she originally declined playing the role of Bree.

Delany left the show after season six and stayed with the ABC family, appearing in medical drama series Body of Proof and later in Hand of God.

In 2016, she took up the role of primetime guest host on Turner Classic Movies.
