Confession: the question of who's hotter - Connell Waldron or Sicilian mafia boss, Massimo Torricelli - has definitely come up in a couple of WhatsApp chats recently. And you know what, it's an impossible question.
But when it comes to deciding which is raunchier - BBC's Normal People or Netflix's 365 DNI - Brits have certainly made up their minds.
As it turns out, the Irish drama left viewers way hotter under the collar than the very sexy Sicilian film.

We have to admit, we are rather surprised. After all, barely a minute goes by in 365 DNI where Laura and Massimo aren't ripping each other's clothes off.
In fact, one scene lasts nearly five minutes, which is actually a really long time (in this context).
But, according to new shopping data from eBay, Normal People sparked a huge peak in Brits buying handcuffs online.
In fact, after the BBC series aired, it locked in 63 per cent more sales than 365 DNI, when the film first arrived on Netflix.

And that's not all, it also generated 34 per cent more sales of vibrators!
We've got a feeling the fact both of these dramas aired during lockdown might have something to do with it also.
Despite some of their similarities, the two shows are very different. While yes, there is a lot of sex in both, Normal People is about the highs and lows of Connell (Paul Mescal) and Marianne's (Daisy Edgar Jones) relationship and everything that comes with it.
In fact, arguably the sexiest part of Normal People is actually Connell's chain, which as fans will probably know, was even given its own Instagram account which now has a staggering 184,000 followers!
And while 365 DNI is of course about the relationship between Laura and Massimo, sex is most definitely the focus.

The film stars Anna Maria Sieklucka as Laura and Michele Morrone (where's the heart eyes emoji when you need it...) as Massimo, whose characters meet in a rather odd way - when he kidnaps her.
It's all a bit strange, but during a near death experience five years earlier, Massimo says Laura 'appeared' to him and he's been trying to track her down ever since.
Massimo gives Laura 365 days to fall in love with him. He says after the year, if she doesn't love him, she can leave.

What follows is a lot of sex scenes (in variety of places, including a luxury yacht) as well as nudity and bondage.
If you're yet to watch either of the shows, you can catch Normal People on BBC iPlayer and 365 DNI on Netflix now!
