We've only just got over the news that there's a live action version of 101 Dalmatians in the works, but now we've got more exciting news to share.

The Disney classic is now also being reworked into a musical, which will hit the stage at London's Regents Park Open Air Theatre.

With music and lyrics by Douglas Hodge, the Zinnie Harris adaptation is set to land in all singing, all dancing glory this Summer - and it's not one to miss.

Directed by Timothy Sheader, the musical will star actress Olivier and Tony award nominated Kate Fleetwood as Cruella de Vil.

Sadly, there won't be real life puppies scampering across the stage, but there will be very convincing puppets in their place.

And the show promises to be even more special, given that it's set in Regents Park - the very same place that the Dearly family resided in Dodie Smith's book.

The show will be on from 16th May to 21st June, and you can get tickets starting from £29 here.

The musical comes at the perfect time for 101 Dalmatian lovers, as Emma Stone's live action Cruella has been delayed until 2021.

The film, based on Cruella De Vil, the villain from the 1961 animated classic, will see the La La Land actress take on title the role of the fur-wearing, puppy killing villain.

Game of Thrones Joel Fry's will be taking on the role of Jasper, one of Cruella's henchmen, while Emma Thompson is rumoured to be playing the Baroness. Paul Walter Hauser is also rumoured to be starring and the movie will be directed by I, Tonya's Craig Gillespie.

The release date for the film was recently moved from 23rd December 2020 to 28th May 2021 to make way for Amy Adams' The Woman in the Window which was scheduled to be released this year, but is moving to 2020.

Cruella will take the place of an untitled Disney film, which was due to be released in its slot.
