But now, in a move that's sure to make our time of self isolation just that bit easier, one company has launched an online pub quiz we can all have a go at, and best of all, we don't even need to leave our sofas.
Yes, from the comfort of our own homes, with our tipple of choice (ours is G&T) in hand, we can attempt to answer those tricky questions just like normal. Now this is news we can get on board with!

Goose's Quizzes, an Edinburgh based pub quiz company that has been running for the past nine years, has found a creative way to continue business during the coronavirus period.
In a recent Instagram post the company wrote: "Our team have been working hard behind the scenes to make sure you don't have to go without your weekly pub quiz."
"We plan to do an online quiz every evening for the foreseeable future!"
Goose's Quizzes will run the online pub quiz every night at 7pm. It's free to join and viewers are encouraged to submit their answers - live on the night or by the next day - using Google Forms, with answers revealed at the next quiz.

And the online pub quizzes have already proven popular with viewers, who have been posting photos of their attempts at joining in.
Andrew, founder of Goose's Quizzes, told LadBible that the response has been overwhelming.
"We've asked people to send in photos of themselves at home playing along and we're getting photos of people in their jammies, we had a couple of guys who were stood in a queue at Morrisons, just having a great time playing along."

"I think that's what we need - that community. We've had people tune in from all over the world.
"We're just trying to make the best of the bad situation."
The quizzes will be run throughout isolation and will be available through live-streaming platform, Twitch.
