Harry Potter fans, there's now a new and exciting way for you to kill a few hours of lockdown.
A public library in America has created a virtual escape room, inspired by Harry Potter - and due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, you can play along virtually.
From theatre shows, to musical performances, over the last few months a number of companies and establishments have been engaging with visitors digitally.

And now, The Peters Township Public Library in McMurray, Pennsylvania, has taken its Harry Potter escape rooms online.
The game was created by Youth Services Librarian, Sydney Krawiec and can be played in a group or individually.
"You can compete against friends and try it multiple times. Just make sure you have fun!" They explain.
"If you are accessing this through a social media app, we recommend opening this escape room in a separate web browser so you don't lose progress when clicking on necessary links."

Immersing yourself in the world of Harry Potter, you'll begin the interactive game as a first year student at Hogwarts.
Having just moved in, you must head to the common room to get to know your roommates and fellow witches and wizards.
The challenge begins with the house prefect announcing that you have a fun team building activity to complete.

The prefect explains there's a new trend in which muggles lock themselves in rooms and have to answer questions and solve puzzles in a bid to escape (without using any magic).
This is when the door (virtually) slams in the common room and the escape challenge begins with a series of games and activities.
We won't ruin what happens, or what puzzles you will have to solve, but it looks like so much fun. Maybe time to mix up the old Zoom quiz with this virtual escape room instead? You can find it here.
