Mum Mortified After Four-Year-Old Accidentally Draws A Giant Penis At Nursery

Vicci, 34, got a shock when her four-year-old's nursery teacher pulled her aside to show her what her daughter had drawn

When full-time mum Vicci, 34, went to pick her four-year-old Amelia up from nursery, she had no idea she was about to be shown an x-rated picture, never mind one drawn by her daughter.

Vicci, from Cardiff, South Wales, said: "I was queuing to pick Amelia up as usual and one of her teachers was stood by the door with a workbook to her chest, hiding what was on the page. She said 'Can I have a quick chat?"

Amelia, 4, had recently been on a trip to the Brecon Beacons. So when she was asked to doodle her memories of the trip at nursery, the tot drew a long pink, ridged slide complete with head and two large circular steps at the bottom, leaving staff in fits of giggles.

The teacher asked Vicci, "We were just wondering what park you take Amelia to? Then she showed me the drawing and we had teaching assistants and other staff there and we were all roaring with laughter."

Vicci knew it was x-rated as soon as she saw it. We're not surprised. There's no mistaking that shape for anything else. "It looks nothing like a slide!" explained Vicci. "I wanted the ground to swallow me up."

Mum Vicci and dad Patrick plan to save the book for Amelia's 18th birthday. But Vicci might be in charge of the nursery run for the time being. "I said to the teacher 'I can't wait until Dad sees this', and she said 'we can't wait to see Dad!' Patrick has actually said he's not going to take her or pick her up anymore because he's so embarrassed."

To make sure Amelia didn't think everyone was laughing at her, Vicci reassured her that is was a really good drawing, and everyone agrees. "Her teacher said she's actually really good for her age and she loves drawing," said Vicci.

Amelia has since soaked up all the praise from her teachers and parents - she doesn't start school full time until September, but it even went to the headteacher who gave her a gold star sticker for creating it.

As well as giving her mum a shock with her naughty-looking picture, Vicci said that Amelia is known as the joker in the family who regularly enjoys acting silly with her two brothers, Ethan, 11, and Declan, 15.

"If she's not on stage when she's older, there'll be something wrong! She's that child - the one who stands around doing something silly while you're trying to get a photo."

"It's funny that Amelia even drew the slide", Vicci explained.

"On the trip we'd been on a little mountain railway - there was a tiny park there too. Amelia has been to massive parks, but she chose this one to write about. This was last month and she's kept that in her head since then. The best part of it is she only went on the slide once - for the rest of the day she was on the see-saw!"
