Have you ever said something, and regretted it so instantly you wish you could stuff the words right back into your mouth? We certainly have.
And unfortunately, Alison Hammond had one of these mortifying moments when fronting This Morning alongside Dermot O'Leary.
The 45-year-old, who always smashes celebrity interviews out the park thanks to her down-to-earth persona, made the ultimate faux-pas when interviewing Graham Norton as part of a segment.
And things started off so well!

Speaking to chat show legend Graham, Alison began: "I miss you, I love you.
"The last time I saw you, you were with your dog, out and about. I've just been told I'm going to get a four-legged friend. Have you still got your dog?"
There was a slight pause before Graham replied. "No. Dead."

We just cringed so hard it hurts.
While Dermot took to hiding his head in his hands, Alison hastily replied: "I'm so sorry, I'm absolutely devastated. I'm so sorry."
Luckily, comedian Graham saw the funny side, and laughed alongside the audience watching at home.
"I feel so sorry for Alison!" wrote one viewer. "This was her first day in a big presenting gig. She didn't mean for this to go wrong!"
It's slightly more awkward for Alison, as today marked her first day as a main presenter on This Morning, replacing previous Friday hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.

However, despite the small slip-up, viewers seemed to love the new dynamic duo on screen.
"Give Alison Hammond all the awards," wrote one viewer. "An icon. A queen."
"A classic Alison Hammond moment," added another. "Bloody love her."
Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary are a blessing," a third agreed.

"Alison is a nice, warm person. Not vindictive, or nit picking, good with Dermot, wish her well."
Alison and Dermot will host This Morning every Friday from 10am on ITV. Regular hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby front the programme between Monday and Thursday.
