Prince Harry Sends Internet Into Hysterics By Thanking Queen's Horses

He appeared in a very cute baby announcement video yesterday.

The latest royal baby arrived early Monday morning, and nobody was more excited than Prince Harry.

In footage captured at Windsor Castle yesterday, the overjoyed first-time dad gave a short statement to reporters confirming the birth.

He was evidently over the moon throughout the entire clip, but the part that has sent Twitter into hysterics is at the end when, after thanking the reporters for coming out, he turns around to thank the horses in the stables behind him.

Announcing that he and Meghan had welcomed a baby boy, Harry said: "It's been the most amazing experience I could ever have possibly imagined."

He added: "How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension. But we're both absolutely thrilled and so grateful to all the love and support from everybody out there."

The 34-year-old spent the whole video laughing and smiling, before adding: "I haven't been at many births. This is definitely my first birth - it was amazing, absolutely incredible."

Praising Meghan's hard work again, he added: "I'm so incredibly proud of my wife. And as every father and parent would say, your baby is absolutely amazing. But this little thing is absolutely to-die-for so I'm absolutely over the moon."

Harry's gushing speech is maybe not the most regal of speeches, but that seems to be why fans are enjoying it so much.

And the most human part of all is at the end, when he says he is "over the moon" and tells the reporters, "thank you very much guys" - before turning towards the Queen's horses George and Sir John and adding: "Thanks, guys!"

One Twitter user said: "Prince Harry thanking the horses behind him at the end of the video tells you everything you need to know about how much sleep he got last night."

Which, as anyone who has been a new parent or who has known one can attest, is probably very little.
