Love Island's Megan Barton-Hanson Admits She And Wes Nelson Are 'Barely Together'

Love Island star Megan Barton-Hanson has shared her relationship struggles, admitting that she and boyfriend Wes Nelson are 'barely together'.

Wes and Megan met during their time in the villa, although their new-found fame and hectic work schedules have made things 'difficult'.

The reality star explained that her Wes make sure that they are 'honest' with one another when they feel like they need to spend more time together to make sure their romance stays strong.

"So it's difficult but I think we're very honest with each other. When we feel like we need to spend more time with each other we'll do it."

Megan and Wes did make a joint appearance on Good Morning Britain earlier this week, where the couple explained that their romance was getting better everyday.

"We've gone from strength to strength," Megan revealed.

"We always knew coming out [of the villa] was going to be a bigger test than going in there because of the pressures of being separate, but it's actually worked out for the better. So we've become a lot closer."

Megan had a clear message for the haters during GMB too, clapping back at anyone who has ever sl*t shamed her.

The former Islander wore a bright yellow slogan t-shirt, which read: "Stop valuing women based on their sexual history."

While the pair are clearly smitten with one another, Megan joked to show hosts Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan that she wouldn't have got with Wes if she'd know him outside of the villa.

"If I would have seen that Wes was like 20, seeing him taking selfies I would have been like no way! Run a mile!" she exclaimed.

Megan and Wes placed fourth in the Love Island final, with Kaz Crossley and Josh Denzel placing third, Laura Anderson and Paul Knops scooping second, and Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer being crowned winners.
