Kim Kardashian is no stranger to 'breaking the internet' and the 39-year-old did it again as she embodied Elle Woods from Legally Blonde for Halloween and we don't object.

The reality star revealed in May's American Vogue that she was studying to become a lawyer with the aim to pass the Californian bar in 2022.

After her announcement, the entrepreneur revealed that she received a wave of push-back on social media with some telling her to "stay in her lane" while others hit out at her unconventional path towards becoming a lawyer.

Now sticking it to the naysayers this 31st October, the beauty mogul took a break from the books to channel Reese Witherspoon's seemingly air-headed but actually incredibly smart character for the hilarious video.

Posting the nostalgia-triggering clip on Instagram, Kim re-enacted the 2001 film's pivotal scene (with a Kardashian spin of course) when Elle applies for Harvard Law the only way she knows how - a video essay.

Clad in Elle's statement pink ensembles and holding a fluffy pen, the US star emulated the character in a move reminiscent of Ariana Grande's Thank U, Next music video.

Filled with many "bend-and-snap" moments, Kim discussed important issues in the video like how her sorority house's maintenance staff was going to switch their toilet paper from Charmin to generic, which put them at risk of chafing.

The E! star then discussed Days of Our Lives while floating in a pool in Elle's iconic pink sequin bikini and used legal jargon like "I object!"

We know Paulette would be proud.

Of course, the hilarious video has gone viral and received a flood of commentary praising her sense of humour - including Selma Blair, who played Elle's love rival Vivian in the original, praising her efforts.

Selma cheekily penned: "Even Vivian approves" alongside a number of love hearts.

Legally Blonde centred on Elle, a fashionable sorority girl, who is dumped by her boyfriend, Warner Huntington III, and decides to follow him to law school to prove there's more to her than just good looks.

The first flick inspired a sequel in 2003 where film fans watched as Elle took Washington, DC and Reese previously revealed that a third instalment of the cult classic is on its way.
