It's the news we have all been waiting for: filming for Dani Dyer's family reality show has officially begun, and it will also star her nan and granddad 'Bruv'.

Dani, who first rose to fame on this year's series of Love Island, revealed the news on the Capital Breakfast Show on Wednesday morning, but added that opening her life up to the cameras again has taken some getting used to.

She explained: "Yeah, we've just sort of started. It's exciting.

"It is hard work though, it's sort of back to all that again, ain't it? I'm like, 'Oh no Dan, here we go again'."

The reality star added: "It is weird. Me nan loves it though. Yeah [and] Bruv! Yeah, he goes, 'Oh no, no I don't want to go out!' - I can't do a Spanish accent, that's how he does it!"

Dani's boyfriend and Love Island co-star Jack Fincham will be starring on the reality show too, of course.

Danny Dyer previously said that a reality show with his daughter and her boyfriend would either be a complete car crash or be brilliant.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, the EastEnders actor said: "We're going to go and have some meetings about it and we're going to see how we feel about it.

"It could be brilliant, or it could be a car crash. We're not just selling our souls to the devil, do you know what I mean? We're going to do [something] credible."

Dani confirmed that her family were 'in talks' for a reality show last week, admitting that if it did go ahead it would be more like more The Osbournes than Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

The reality star also teased: "Yes, there's been talks about it, but we're gonna see.

"You know, it's one of them things that's just like once you commit, you commit."

There is currently no word on when the Dyer's family show will be hitting screens, although Dani did let slip a few details about a potential air date.

She added: "It could possibly, potentially happen next year, yeah."
