The mother of Tristan Thompson’s love child has given fans an update on their son as she marked her first Mother’s Day on social media.
Fitness model Maralee Nichols, who announced she had given birth to Tristan's third child, a son named Theo, in December 2021, shared a glamorous photo of her and the infant cuddling on Instagram.
The personal trainer captioned the heart-warming photo for the American holiday: "Thank you for choosing me to be your mommy, being your mommy is my greatest blessing. Words cannot express how much I love you.

"You are my world. Happy Mother’s Day to all of the amazing mothers out there!"
After sharing the adorable post, Maralee was inundated with heartfelt comments by her followers, who branded the shot 'gorgeous'.
One wrote: "Awww what a little chunk. So cute and you look beautiful! Happy Mother’s Day."
"Absolutely gorgeous," another commented. "Happy Mother’s Day beautiful. Hoping you find all the love and joy that motherhood brings. You are a strong woman.”
Although the comments have been limited on the post, one follower penned an incredibly pointed comment claiming Tristan was a 'no good dad'.
They claimed: "And Tristan is still a no good dad. These children are innocent but happy Mother’s Day sis."
In January, Tristan publicly apologised to his then-girlfriend Khloé Kardashian after a paternity test proved he had fathered a child with Maralee.
The 31-year-old basketball player took to Instagram to confirm the birth of his third child and issued a grovelling apology to Khloé, whom he shares three-year-old daughter True with.
“Today paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,” Tristan’s Instagram Story apology read.
“I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established, I look forward to amicably raising our son.
“I sincerely apologise to everyone I've hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.
Tristan and Khloe had an on-off relationship since they first started dating in 2016.
The couple split in February 2019 after it was alleged that Tristan was seen kissing Kylie Jenner’s former best friend Jordyn Woods at a party.
The fallout was shown in episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
On an episode of Red Table Talk, Jordyn denied having an affair with Tristan, but said he had kissed her on the lips, which left her 'in shock'.
Tristan and Khloe reconciled again during lockdown in 2020 and Tristan featured in episodes of the hit E! reality series.
Tristan also has a five-year-old son with his ex, Jordan Craig.
