Selling Sunset star Maya Vander has shared some happy news and announced that she is pregnant again after suffering a miscarriage and a stillbirth.

The mum-of-two told told The US Sun that she is '9 months pregnant' and 'expecting a baby girl any day now'.

The 39-year-old is expecting her third child after her son, Mason, was sadly stillborn at 38 weeks in December 2021.

Six months later, she miscarried while 10 weeks pregnant.

In a statement to the news outlet, Maya said: "I am 9 months pregnant and I'm expecting a baby girl any day now.

"It's exciting, but also this time around I have more fears and more concerns given the last circumstances."

She also explained why her announcement had come so late in her pregnancy, saying: "I kept quiet on social media because I lost a baby when I was nine months pregnant in the past."

Maya and her husband Dave Miller, who works in the financial sector, are already parents to son Aiden, four, and daughter Elle, three.

The Selling Sunset alum had an answer for all those who have questioned why she had such a strong drive to have a third child after experiencing two heartbreaking losses.

Maya said: "I know it's hard to understand why I would bother to get pregnant again, but I had a huge void to fill. I stayed calm and positive.

"I'm very lucky and thankful for my kids. It was just something that was missing. No one expects to lose a child and give birth to a stillborn.

"I hope my story will inspire other women going through any loss."

While speculating about pregnancy can be devastating for those who have experienced miscarriages and stillbirths, a photo that cropped up on Maya's Instagram grid at the end of April led to some of her followers drawing conclusions.

The post saw the reality TV star and her husband standing in a playground they had donated to the Child Care Center at Riviera Presbyterian Church in Coral Gables, Florida in memory of little Mason.

Further comments on the matter followed when the Maya shared a video on Thursday (4 May).

Showing a new Miami Beach listing in a black shirt, fans began speculating wildly in the comments and the post.

"Do I see a lovely bump?" asked one user.

The Selling Sunset alum will not be returning to the show.

A second, with misguided good intentions, commented: "Congratulations on this listing and your new precious baby."

However, some of Maya's followers spoke out on her behalf, with one writing: "I really don't think it's appropriate to be commenting regarding whether she is pregnant or not. If she is I'm sure she'll announce it when she feels it's appropriate and not before."

Can I get a 'clapping hands' emoji?

But while a mazel tov is in order for the Israeli entrepreneur's exciting news, sadly she won't be returning to season six of Netflix's Selling Sunset.

Maya has opened The Maya Vander Group and is now focusing on growing her company as well as her family.

She shared a statement on Instagram at the time which said: "I decided to not go on with the show and it was not an easy decision! Being a part of such a successful hit is absolutely amazing and I am so grateful for!!"
