Paris Hilton finally shares baby boy's unique name

Paris Hilton finally shares baby boy's unique name

This is such an adorable name!

Paris Hilton has finally shared her son’s unique name and the powerful meaning behind it.

The 42-year-old heiress announced the arrival of her first child last month with her husband Carter Reum.

She confirmed the wonderful news by sharing an Instagram post showing her perfectly manicured fingernails wrapped around her newborn baby's tiny hand.

"You are already loved beyond words," Paris wrote in a caption.

Many fans of the ‘Stars Are Blind’ singer were left wondering the newborn’s name and now, she has finally told us.

Nearly a month after announcing her son’s arrival, The Simple Life star revealed the moniker on the most recent episode of her podcast This Is Paris, which dropped on Wednesday (22 February).

The socialite and businesswoman took to the mic and said that her son’s name is Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum before spilling all the details about how she decided on the name.

“Carter and I are so proud to welcome him into the world,” she added.

The reality TV icon is set to reveal further details in her upcoming book, Paris: The Memoir, which will be released 14 March.

The excerpt read by the new mum during her podcast seems to have been written before she welcomed her son.

“We plan to name him Phoenix,” she reads. “A name that I decided on years ago when I was searching cities, countries and states on a map looking for something to go with Paris and London.”

Paris said that she liked the name because a phoenix is a bird that ‘flames out and then rises from the ashes to fly again’.

She added: “I want my son to grow up knowing that disaster and triumph go around and come around throughout our lives and that this should give us great hope for the future.”

Paris had previously told People about her IVF journey, which began during the Covid-19 lockdown.

"We started going and doing it like a few months in because the world was shut down.

"We knew we wanted to start a family, and I was like, 'This is perfect timing. Usually, I'm on a plane 250 days out of the year, and let's just get all of the eggs stocked and ready, and we have tons of them just waiting."

Paris and Carter married in late 2021 and the Cooking with Paris star said that she always wanted to become a mum.

"It's always been my dream to be a mother and I'm so happy that Carter and I found each other," she said.

"We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy."
