Marnie Simpson Reveals Baby's Gender In Emotional Statement
Congrats are in order for the Geordie Shore star!
Marnie Simpson has revealed the gender of her second child – and we couldn’t be happier for her.
The 30-year-old confirmed she was expecting a boy, but was quick to tell fans that the news of her baby’s gender was no real shock to her.
“I don’t feel it was that much of a surprise. I had a feeling I was going to be having another boy when I fell pregnant,” she told OK! Magazine.

“Even a psychic predicted it! I guess I always thought it was going to be a boy before I found out.”
Simpson, who shares two-year-old Rox with her fiancé, Casey Johnson, says she cannot wait to give Rox a little brother to play with.
“That’s the best thing about it,” she said. “The fact I’ve given him a brother makes me so happy. I would have loved a sister when I was younger, and I love thinking about how they’re going to be best friends forever.
“He’s such a playful toddler, bless him, so I think he will love having someone to play and grow up with.
“Casey and I are so happy they will be close in age, it’s what we’ve always wanted.”
Marnie, who shot to fame in MTV reality series Geordie Shore, met Union J singer Casey on dating show Single AF in 2017.
The pair have been together ever since, and are thrilled to be expanding their brood.
However, Marnie admits that she’s been struggling on a “wild rollercoaster of hormones” throughout her second pregnancy.
“I've been getting weird symptoms recently,” she explained. “I'm covered in new moles and skin tags, which they say is common in a particularly hormonal pregnancy. My gums and lips are also really sensitive at the moment, so it’s all fun and games over here!”
Marnie doesn’t have too long to wait for her brand new bundle of joy, with her second child due on 27th May.
