Little Mix fans are besides themselves – Leigh-Anne Pinnock has signed a solo record deal.
The news was announced by Warner Records on Twitter, writing: “Delighted to welcome Leigh-Anne Pinnock to the Warner Records family!
“Sign up to her mailing list to hear about exciting news first!”
But while fans were excited to hear the news that the 30-year-old will be releasing new music, some other eagle-eyed fans pointed out we’ve already heard some of Leigh-Anne’s solo music.
The Little Mix star plays a pop star named Georgia who reunited with her ex, and fans think they were teased with not one but two original tracks recorded by Leigh-Anne for the film.
In one scene, Leigh-Anne takes to the stage alone at London’s Omera jazz cafe where she performs, while a brand new song can be heard in a different scene where the characters tuning in as Georgia's original song is announced as the Christmas number one.
Fans are thirsty to hear the track in the full, one Twitter user said: "So are there any updates on the boxing day soundtrack I'm in desperate need of Leigh-Anne solo."
While another fan theorised Leigh-Anne wrote the songs herself, "Leigh Anne killed her part in boxing day, her solo songs sounded insane and she wrote them!!"
A third person hailed the songs "so good" and said they need them ASAP. "Ugh I love Leigh-Anne’s voice so much," they added.
While there’s currently no news on when Leigh-Anne will release her solo debut, fans were quick to sign up to her new mailing list; particularly as Little Mix announced they were taking a hiatus after their 2022 tour.
“Sign up besties let's show them that our girl has got THE DEMAND,” one person wrote on Twitter.
“Leigh has proved time and time again to have impeccable vision and taste. I’m so I’m excited to see Warner provide A BUDGET, honey,” said a second person.
“Happy for our queen!! Hope you enjoy working with her, and please treat her like the incredible, determined and strong woman she is!” added a third.
