Kourtney Kardashian explains why she always tongue kisses Travis Barker in public

Kourtney Kardashian has opened up about her and her husband Travis Barker's PDA.

Look, the cute couple are no strangers to sharing their love in public, but if you've ever wondered why their kisses, well, look like that, Kourtney has explained.

Turns out there's a method behind the couple touching tongues in public.

We get it, sometimes the person you're with looks so good you just can't control yourself in public.

This, it seems, is pretty true for our fave celeb couple but, as Kourtney explained on a recent episode of The Kardashians, there's some logic behind their moments of passion in public.

"I don’t want to get lipstick all over him and I don’t want to ruin my lipstick," the Poosh founder explains.

"But we also don’t want to not kiss, so we’ll kiss with our tongues. That’s why we kiss that way."

And to be fair that does make a lot of sense because smeared lipstick isn't exactly the look anyone's aiming for on a red carpet.

Kardashian and Barker are no strangers to making headlines for their relationship though, the close couple often shares relationship milestones with users on social media.

On 6 April this year, the pair confirmed they'd tied the knot in Las Vegas with some Rockstar style shots on their Instagram.

An Elvis impersonator presided over things, of course, and the pair looked happier than ever.

Announcing the news to fans, Kourtney wrote: "Found these in my camera roll. Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2 am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license). Practice makes perfect."

The huge milestone came after the pair announced their epic beach engagement in October 2021, with Kardashian confirming things with Barker on Instagram, captioning the photo 'forever'.

The pair are thought to have begun dating in January 2021, officially confirming their romance on Valentine's Day that year.

They have been friends for a number of years and Barker was said to have been quickly welcomed by Kardashian's family.

And we have to say, the pair are actually one of our fave celeb couples in recent years!

Even if they do have a somewhat unconventional kissing style, hey, whatever works, right?
