Kailia Posey’s mum has issued a heartbreaking statement following her daughter’s ‘suicide’.
The 16-year-old sadly passed away on Monday afternoon after her family said she took her own life.

Her mother, Marcy Posey, took to Instagram on Wednesday, sharing a slew of photos in tribute to her daughter.
“I still have no words. I thank everyone for their kind words. I miss my baby girl so much that it doesn’t feel real.
“I keep waiting for her to walk through the door and yell my name ‘Mom, mom.’ My baby!”
Fans of the star have taken to the comments section to send their love and condolences to Marcy.
“We all are praying for you and are here for you no matter what you need,” one supporter wrote.
“Like many others, this has completely shocked us and broke our hearts. If it hurts us this bad I can only imagine the pain you and your family are going through. We will continue to pray and ask God to find the answers you need to handle such an enormous loss. #hawaiiantropic forever.”
Someone else echoed: “So incredibly sorry for your loss - I am sending my deepest condolences to you and your family.”
“I love you, Marcy, she’s forever gonna be an angel. I’m praying so hard for you,” someone else wrote.
“Praying for you and your family. Kailia will always be remembered for talent, sweetness and her beautiful face,” a different onlooker wrote.
“So much love to you & your entire family..she’s forever a beautiful soul.”
Kalia was perhaps most known for appearing on the TLC reality series Toddlers and Tiaras, which led her to become the face of the viral 'grinning girl' GIF online.
After her Toddlers and Tiaras moment of fame, Kailia went on to compete in a number of pageants, including Miss Washington Teen USA in February 2022.
