Netflix murder-fest You is dropping its third season on Friday, and it looks like lead Penn Bagdley's character, Joe Goldberg, is still as messed up as ever.
For those who need reminding, season two's finale saw Joe move into a family home with the equally murderous and pregnant Love (Victoria Pedretti).
In the final moments of season two, it is implied that Joe is infatuated with his neighbour, who has not yet been revealed.

There are many questions swirling around You season three’s plot-lines, such as whether any new characters will be joining Joe and Love, and how their new domesticated family will affect their stalker-like and murderous tendencies.
But we have a feeling that, baby or not, things are going to get pretty dark...

The new season sees Joe and Love welcome a newborn son, and Joe is set to try his best to change his ways and be a doting dad.

But the bad things Joe and Love did in the past soon come back to haunt them, and their new personas as the “nice new normal neighbours next door” begin to unravel.
There are a number of newcomers that we can expect to see in the new season, including Dylan Arnold (Halloween) Michaela McManus (One Tree Hill), Shalita Grant (NCIS) as Sherry, Travis Wan Winkle (Scorpion), and Tati Gabrielle (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina).
Perhaps the most important addition is McManus, who is believed to be playing Natalie, Joe’s next-door neighbour who has a few secrets of her own.

While it has not been confirmed that Natalie is the neighbour we caught a glimpse of in season two, it is likely that she will be the source of Joe’s new infatuation.
According to the season three synopsis, the couple will be “surrounded by privileged tech entrepreneurs, judgemental mommy bloggers, and Insta-famous biohackers” in their new home as they attempt to raise their child in the California suburbs.
It continues: “Joe is committed to his new role as a husband and dad, but fears Love’s lethal impulsiveness. And then there’s his heart. Could the woman he’s been searching for all this time live right next door?

“Breaking out of a cage in a basement is one thing but the prison of a picture-perfect marriage to a woman who’s wise to your tricks? Well, that’ll prove a much more complicated escape.”
