Netflix Gives Major You Season 3 Update Involving Joe And Love's Baby

Listen up, You fans. It might seem like ages since season two graced your screens, but Netflix is finally teasing the upcoming third season.

Ahead of its release, the streaming site has dropped a spoiler for the next instalment, revealing the name of the newborn baby boy belonging to Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) and Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) as Henry.

In a tweet, shared on social media today, Netflix's official account for the series revealed the official release date: 15th October 2021.

The tweet was previously teased, with Netflix confirming the name reveal was imminent and asking fans to RSVP to the big announcement.

"Every child begins the world again," the streamer wrote, cryptically.

The third season of You was viewed by over 54 million people, so there is no surprise it was renewed in the weeks after season 2 landed on screens.

In case you need a reminder, The second season saw Joe move from New York to Los Angeles, and starting his life again as Will.

It seemed like Joe actually wanted to change his ways at first - but as per usual, people just seemed to end up dying when they entered his life.

The series ended with a pregnant Love, who has now settled down with Joe after accepting him warts and all, and even crossing over to the dark side to be with him.

But it isn't all plain sailing, as a teaser suggests that Joe might be up to his old stalking ways with a new victim.

While we don't yet know much more about the plot, the new season has several debuting cast-members, including Shalita Grant, who will play a 'Mom-fluencer', and Travis VanWinkle, who plays wealthy Cary, who befriends Joe.

Scott Speedman has also been confirmed to be joining the cast as a wealthy CEO, husband and uncommunicative father.

We don't yet have an official launch date for season 3, but we know it's dropping by the end of the year.

And the fact that we now know the name of Joe and Love's offspring is a pretty big indicator we'll be hearing from the Goldberg clan sooner rather than later.
