To All The Boys I've Loved Before Is Finally Getting A Spin Off Series

Yaaaass.

To All The Boys I've Loved Before fans, big news. Netflix has announced a new spin-off series is on the way starring Anna Cathcart.

XO, Kitty will be a 10-episode series - and the first ever to be spun from a Netflix original film. It's inspired by the trilogy - as well as Jenny Han's book series. Jenny will be the series creator and also co-wrote the pilot along with Siobhan Vivian.

You can watch a teaser clip below:

So what will it be about?!

Well, Netflix explains: "Anna Cathcart is back in XO, Kitty — a new Y/A series inspired by the To All the Boys... franchise.

"In the show (co-created by Jenny Han & Sascha Rothchild) Kitty learns a lot about love when she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend."

Kitty learns that relationships are way more complicated than she first thought.

Fans will know Kitty played a major role in the films, playing the younger sister of Lara (Lana Condor). It's not clear whether Lana - or Noah Centineo - will return from the series but we certainly hope so!

As it's only just been announced, Netflix hasn't revealed any details of a release date. But we're guessing it could be set to hit our screens at some point next year.

And fans are so thrilled about the spin off, with one person commenting: "OMG I'M SOOOOO EXCITED!!!! Thank you for this!!! We need see LJ and PK too."

Meanwhile another said: "Omg... I can't wait for this one."

And a third added: "'I'm freaking out' is an understatement."

"OMGGG IM SO EXCITED," commented a fourth.

Earlier this year, Lana Condor teased the potential of a fourth To All the Boys movie.

Speaking to The New York Times about the opportunity of bringing back the love story in a few years' time, to see where the couple are now, Lana said: "I think never say never."

"The third is all I know, to me...that's the ending," she said. "But I would really like to see Lara Jean and Peter in their mid-to-late 20s.

"Like, they've gone through college and I want to see what they're like in the work space.

"I have this dream that Lara Jean is working in some realm of literature, I don't know, in New York, writing, living her life."

This certainly sounds promising!
