Speaking with Us Magazine, Vanessa refused to rule out a part four, but said added that she needs a break after filming the first three flicks.
"You know, I never want to say never, but I definitely need a break from the amount of work that these movies take," the 32-year-old admitted.
"They’re so special and I love being in everyone’s home for the holidays and knowing that it’s bringing families together. It just fills my soul with joy. But it’s a lot [of work]."
However, in news that's guaranteed to bring fans hope, while discussing the possibility of a Princess Switch 4 Vanessa even pondered the possibility of a baby storyline.
"I feel like I would just want to skip the [pregnancy] bump part and just be me holding babies, because god, I love babies,” she said.
On top of starring as three different characters, Vanessa also serves as a producer, alongside Brad Krevoy. So a baby storyline for the potential fourth flick might actually be on the cards.
The third film follows the concept of the first two Netflix classics, in which Vanessa Hudgens plays not one, not two, but three different characters; Queen Margaret, Princess Stacy and Margaret’s look-alike cousin Fiona
The trio must track down a jewel thief, with the help of Fiona's ex, Peter Maxwell (Remy Hii).
Fiona was introduced in the second film, The Princess Switch: Switched Again, which debuted in 2020. Princess Switch: Switched Again followed on from the 2018 feel-good adventure.
The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star was written by Robin Bernheim burger and is directed by Mike Rohl. The film franchise is based on characters created by Burger and Megan Metzger.
The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star is out now on Netflix.
