Selling Sunset Fans Notice Something Odd With Amanza

Selling Sunset Fans Notice Something Odd With Amanza

Did you spot this inconsistency?

Selling Sunset has returned for a fabulously bitchy fourth season, and we have hoovered up the new series the moment it dropped on Netflix.

And while some of the episodes have been completely wild (guys, there was actually a dog birthday party), some viewers have been left baffled about the role of one of the realtors.

Having joined the series as a realtor in season two, Amanza Smith was always one of our firm favourites, with the 44-year-old being one of Mary’s close friends and confidants.

However, after selling a few properties in season two and three, we don’t really see any of Amanza’s big sales in season four.

It was something that fans have noticed, asking why we see so little of Amanza’s actual career, but hear a lot about her personal life raising her two children while her ex, NFL player Ralph Brown, is reported missing.

Taking to Reddit, one person wrote: “I think her story was the most interesting (and obviously devastating). I wish they would have more personal stories on the others as well.”

Another wrote: “I think it would be cool to see more of her job. iI really was so jarring to go directly from the type of drama of the rest of this season to Amanza's situation, when it came up. especially in episode 8, it felt like a totally inappropriate tonal shift. compared to what she's going through, everything else at the office is so unimportant and petty.”

However, others believe we’re seeing less of Amanza’s realtor career because she has stepped back from that side of The Oppenheim Group.

“She’s primarily a designer/house stager,” wrote one person. “They haven’t devoted much time to it because they’ve shifted almost complete focus to Chrishell and Christine. They only discussed her story a little bit to wrap things up from the previous seasons I think.”

“Amanza is talented, hello producers show more of her designs and staging,” said another.

And if you look towards Amanza’s profile on The Oppenheim Group, it’s clear to see she’s now focusing on interior design.

The website reads: “Amanza has returned to her first love, interior design. Amanza has decorated and staged homes for Hollywood’s elite, and most recently has joined The Oppenheim Group as the in-house interior design expert.

“Amanza’s knowledge for all-things design, along with her ability to openly and honestly communicate with clients has been a key to her success in the business.”
