Selling Sunset Fans Flood Chrishell With Support After Discovering Heartbreaking Loss

Our hearts go out to the 'Selling Sunset' star.

Selling Sunset fans have flocked to Chrishell Stause's social channels in support, after she revealed the heartbreaking loss of her parents on the show.

During episode one of the long-anticipated fourth season, the star opened up about her rocky 2020 experience.

A lot of casual viewers were unaware of just how much she'd suffered over the last year, and took to Twitter in order to voice their shock.

Chrishell had initially spoken out about her devastating double loss on Instagram. In a horrific turn of events, she lost each parent within just three months of each other.

Opening up about her dad's death in April 2020, she said: "We lost you today but it was a long terrible battle with cancer that started taking you years ago. I choose to remember you the way you were before it took it's hold on you".

Then, in July of the same year, she tragically lost her mum in the same way. "In disbelief that you are gone", she said. "Feeling just about every emotion, but I find comfort knowing Dad is up there taking care of you and showing you the ropes like only he could".

The real estate agent spoke in person for the first time about her experience with loss. At the beginning of the new season, she opened up to viewers of the show.

"2020 was the year of amazing highs and incredible lows", she said. "From going through a divorce [with actor Justin Hartley] to losing my parents.

After everything I went through, I really put a lot of focus on my career".

Fans found the revelation shocking, and many expressed their condolences on Twitter.
