Red Notice boasts an all-star cast including Gal Gadot (Sarah Black), Ryan Reynolds (Nolan Booth) and Dwayne Johnson (Josh Hartley). The latter plays an Interpol agent who is trying to track down one of the world’s most wanted art thieves.
The film has been lapped up by fans for its hilarious one-liners, explosive chemistry between the three leads, and the countless celebrity cameos, including Thinking Out Loud crooner Ed Sheeran.
The film begins with a video about the fictional story of Cleopatra’s three eggs, the priceless items at the centre of the heist. One egg is missing, while the other two are in known locations.
At the end of the film, Booth and Hartley hatch a plan to find the missing egg and they end up in a South American jungle where they hope to find the egg.
The pair are followed by Bishop and a car chase ends with the vehicle plummeting into a waterfall.
Booth emerges with the missing egg but Hartley is still missing. But in a shock twist, he comes out of the jungle with the egg.
In a moment that bamboozled viewers, Hartley reveals he and The Bishop are in a relationship and have been secretly working together the whole time.
A montage of flashbacks shows them recovering the first and second eggs together and in the final scene, Booth, Hartley and The Bishop are seen in front of The Louvre in Paris where their next mission awaits.
"I watched Red Notice and i loved it. The ending was so random though," one viewer said.
However one viewer shared: "Red Notice on Netflix is worth the watch. The ending is amazing. I'm ready for the sequel already."
A third viewer said: "Just finished Red Notice and THE ENDING LOL IM DYING."
While another person was caught off-guard: "The last 10 minutes was priceless. Didn't see that coming. Cannot say no to a sequel."
But another fan wasn't enthused by the ending. "Red Notice has the worst ending. Probably they will be working on the sequel."
Red Notice is available on Netflix now.
