Netflix viewers are not impressed, after news that US sitcom New Girl would be taken off the streaming platform at the end of December.
The show is a firm fan favourite, and viewers are devastated it's going to be removed.
Starring Zooey Deschanel as quirky teacher Jess Day, the series follows her life as she moves into an LA loft apartment with three men, Nick (Jake Johnson), Schmidt (Max Greenfield), and Winston (Lamorne Morris).
Her childhood best friend Cece (Hannah Simone) - a successful model - often pops in to visit the group, too.

The series follows Jess and the group as they navigate work struggles, friendship dramas, and, of course, relationship highs and lows.
The US series ran on Fox for seven years and was added to Netflix last year - but sadly, its stint is coming to an end. And fans have a lot of opinions!
One person tweeted: "Why r they getting rid of new girl on netflix?? this isn’t okay."
While another added: "NEW GIRL IS LEAVING NETFLIX ON 31ST DECEMBER. NO THANK YOU!!!!"

And a third said: "Just finished new girl for the 1st time and now I learn it’s leaving Netflix at the end of the month!! how am I supposed to rewatch it 200 times now?!?"
Meanwhile a fourth added: "WAIT HOLD ON NO WHY IS NEW GIRL GETTING REMOVED FROM NETFLIX ON 31ST DECEMBER."
Excuse us while we cry into a pillow!

If this news wasn't bad enough, there are a number of other shows also being taken off in the new year, including Modern Family, Prison Break, How I Met Your Mother, Homeland and Sons of Anarchy.
Another upset viewer took to Twitter in distress, adding: "Sorry but why’s Netflix taking off new girl and how I met your mother pls???????"
Sob!
