Netflix is releasing a new doc - and considering it's from the makers of Crime Scene: The Vanishing at The Cecil Hotel, we've got a feeling it's going to be so gripping.
Posting a teaser clip of the new doc, Netflix said: "The team behind Crime Scene: The Vanishing at The Cecil Hotel is back.
"They’ll next explore the danger and depravity of NYC’s Times Square in the 70s & 80s — a place that made it possible for one man to commit unthinkable acts. Crime Scene: The Times Square Killer premieres 12/29."

It will be the second instalment of the three season Crime Scene series by filmmaker Joe Berlinger, who Netflix describe as a "pioneer of the true crime genre".
Adam Del Deo of Netflix said: “Oscar-nominated and Emmy award-winning documentary filmmaker Joe Berlinger is a pioneer of the true crime genre who skillfully turns his lens on complex cases with an eye for untold injustices.
“We always saw potential for Crime Scene to be an ongoing series about how certain locations became accomplices to crimes that took place there.
"Now, as part of our deepening creative partnership with Joe and on the heels of the high interest in season one, we are pleased to renew the series for three additional seasons — each tackling a new location with a dark past.”

The first season focused on the case of 21-year-old Elisa Lam, who vanished while staying at The Cecil Hotel in 2013.
Elisa's disappearance garnered international attention several years ago, when CCTV footage of her in the hotel elevator went viral online.
In the clip, she appeared to be acting erratically, talking and gesturing towards the corridor, before entering and exiting the elevator several times.
One month after she vanished, Elisa's body was recovered from a water tank on the roof of the hotel.
You can catch the second instalment, Crime Scene: The Times Square Killer, on 29th December.
