Married At First Sight UK Fans Spot Contestant Ant On Another Dating Show

Married At First Sight UK Fans Spot Contestant Ant On Another Dating Show

His face looks familiar….

We’re utterly obsessed with Married At First Sight, with the new series seeing the format getting a major overhaul.

The show now follows the same format of the smash-hit Australian version, seeing all our couples now having regular dinner parties to discuss how their relationships are fairing after meeting their new match at the altar.

Watch Ant Poole in action below.

But it appears that for some contestants, it’s not their first time on television looking for their perfect person.

We’ve already told you how Nikita Jasmine and Morag Crichton previously appeared on particular series – and now, we’ve found that Ant Poole has dabbled in reality TV before too.

The 28-year-old from Manchester previously appeared on Comedy Central’s Your Face Or Mine, with his girlfriend Dhechen.

The pair have awkward banter with hosts Jimmy Carr and Katherine Ryan, where Dhechen joked that she preferred Ant’s brother, Andrew.

“Yeah, sometimes when I joke I just say something funny without being hurtful,” Jimmy fired back.

Meanwhile, Ant found himself getting more awkward after the hosts joked he must have “cheated” on his girlfriend after she discovered a silk dressing gown tie in his bed..

Trying to explain away what happened, Ant said: “It was my dad’s! From when I used to live with him, the tie had got boxed up with some of my stuff when I moved out.”

Yikes…

Viewers are very much backing Ant during his tenure on Married At First Sight, after an explosive row with his new wife, Nikita.

One specific fight had them try to talk out their grievances after arguing on the beach earlier in the day. However, the conversation soon turned aggressive and the two started fighting once more.

Instead of lapping up the drama though, many fans were very uncomfortable with the scenes that were aired and believed that there was a double standard.

Will the pair be able to patch things up?

Married At First Sight continues Mondays to Thursdays at 9pm on E4.
