Married At First Sight UK Contestant Tayah Praised For Opening Up On Miscarriage

Tayah was praised by fans and followers for opening up on the show.

Married at First Sight's Tayah has been praised for opening up about her miscarriage on the show.

Tayah, 25, from Hertfordshire was introduced during Monday evening's episode, where she married Adam from Doncaster. Speaking to the cameras about her past relationship, Tayah explained she had sadly suffered a miscarriage with her ex partner.

Speaking about the episode after it had aired, Tayah took to Instagram where she shared a photo of her and her new husband, Adam.

She wrote: "So here he is…. My new husband... tonight’s episode was a tough one to watch in parts, my miscarriage hasn’t been something I have spoken about to many people and still find difficult in a sense to speak about, however I hope speaking about this subject brings to light the awareness it really needs.

"My family, also, are the most amazing, supportive family in the world and I’m the luckiest person alive to have them. I’m so excited for everyone to see the journeys of myself and Adam and the rest of the couples throughout this process."

Followers on social media were quick to praise Tayah, with one person commenting: "Very brave to take a chance like this being on the show, and to then talk about your miscarriage you are an inspiration and a very strong woman! Proud of you and you should be proud of yourself."

Meanwhile another added: "So proud of you my love for being so open and owning your story."

And a third said: "You did amazing - beautiful couple."

The episode saw Tayah and Adam tie the knot - but fans couldn't stop laughing at one moment in particular. Feeling the nerves beforehand, Adam somehow made the mistake of gushing about his wife-to-be's bridesmaid as she walked down the aisle, after mistakenly assuming she was his bride.

Adam was so sure that the bridesmaid was his future missus that he actually said "wow" when he saw her, in front of all of her friends and family.

Married At First Sight UK continues weeknights on E4 at 9pm.
