Magic Mike Fans Are Calling For Adam Driver To Be Cast In New Film

What do you think?

A Magic Mike sequel has been confirmed - and fans are calling for Adam Driver to be cast in the film.

Channing Tatum has confirmed that a third movie is set to be released on streaming service HBO Max, with Channing reprising his role as Mike Lane, while director Steven Soderbergh and writer Reid Carolin will also return to the franchise.

And fans know exactly who else they want to star, too, with many calling for Adam Driver to also get involved.

One person tweeted: "Dear @channingtatum, if you ever make a Magic Mike 3, I would like to respectfully request that you consider casting Adam Driver in a role."

While another added: "A third Magic Mike movie but starring only Adam Driver."

And a third added: "So, Soderbergh is set to direct Magic Mike 3. Driver likes that director, right?

"SO, Adam Driver for MM3."

And a fourth wrote: "Today, Adam Driver is being made aware that his fans are being very loud about him being in the next Magic Mike movie and his way of moving on is reading the script."

"Adam driver be in new magic mike pls," said a fifth.

The previous films have been a huge success, grossing well over $300,000 (£225,574). They also led to a hugely popular and successful state show, titled Magic Mike: Live.

Speaking about the upcoming film, Chairman of Warner Bros. Pictures Group, Toby Emmerich, told Deadline: “Is there anybody on screen more charismatic and appealing than Magic Mike?

“We’re thrilled to be back in business with Channing, Steven and their creative team to bring back Magic Mike’s wonderful combination of dance, drama, romance and humour.”

Adam meanwhile, has just starred alongside Lady Gaga in House of Gucci, which hit cinemas on 24th November.

The movie, about the infamous Gucci family, stars Gaga as Patrizia Reggiani alongside a massive cast, including Jared Leto as Paolo Gucci, Jeremy Irons as Rodolfo Gucci, and Al Pacino as Aldo Gucci, plus Adam as Maurizio Gucci and Salma Hayek as Giuseppina "Pina" Auriemm.
