Love Island Fans Baffled After Toby Makes Surprising U-Turn

Just when we thought Love Island couldn’t get any more dramatic, the ITV2 dating show still finds ways to surprise us.

Casa Amor saw several of our established couples turned on their heads, as the boys were all sorely tempted by the arrival of new girls in a separate villa.

And while it’s had a devastating impact on some of our pairings (Millie and Liam are no more, sob sob), it’s set to cause yet more chaos as it seems Toby Aromolaran has had a change of heart (yes, another one).

In the teaser for Monday night’s episode, we hear Toby say that he’s “in a bit of a pickle” post-Casa Amor, as he now has feelings for three different girls.

“I’m with Mary, I brought Mary back,” he says. “Didn’t expect for Abi to be by herself. She seems like she still wants to get to know me. But my head is with Chloe.”

Say what, Toby?

Brace yourself for this brief recap of Toby’s villa journey: After initially being coupled up with Kaz Kamwi, Toby had his head turned by Chloe Burrows. Their dalliance was brief, as when Abi Rawlings walked in, Toby swivelled once more.

But after just four days of talking, Toby had his turned once again when he met Mary Bedford in Casa Amor.

It’s a surprise Toby’s not given himself whiplash.

Naturally, fans went wild at the teaser, with many stunned that Toby’s got it in him to change his mind yet again.

"I'm fascinated by Toby," tweeted one viewer. "Don’t give him JD or BooHoo Man deals, I want a Netflix documentary."

A second added: "Just give Toby the 50k already as he's actually done the most this season."

"I love Toby so much, where did they find this chaos of a man?" a third joked, adding a laughing meme.

"Me trying to keep up with Tony," a fourth person wrote, before sharing a picture of Gogglebox's Jenny and her infamous notebook from Line of Duty.

"Toby, I haven't laughed that much in a while!" a fifth said about the news.
