Love Island Fans Spot 'Proof' Liberty Is Faking Feelings For Jake

Love Island Fans Spot 'Proof' Liberty Is Faking Feelings For Jake

We never thought of this!

At the end of Wednesday's episode of Love Island, viewers were shocked to see Liberty Poole telling fellow islander Chloe Burrows that boyfriend Jake Cornish might not be 'the one' for her.

In a preview of Thursday's ep, Liberty says: "If he is, he's not the one for me. If he's taking me for granted he's not the one for me babe."

You can watch the clip below:

Viewers were shook... what has Jake done to our girl Lib?! But others are convinced that Liberty could be faking her feelings as part of a challenge, especially considering it kinda' looked like she was smiling when Chloe rushed to give her a hug.

One person tweeted: "I bet Liberty's doing that challenge where you have to convince the boys of something to win a party."

While another said: "Me thinking Liberty is going to finally see her worth but it’s just a challenge."

And a third added: "Liberty having “doubts” about Jake is defo a secret challenge that the producers have done for her and then get some sort of party as a reward."

Meanwhile a fourth wrote: "Secret text 'liberty, convince everyone in the villa that you are having doubts'...... I betcha."

"Liberty was smiling when Chloe hugged her. I think it is just a challenge. Do not get your hopes up," added a fifth.

And another said: "Was Liberty smiling at the end of that preview?"

Hmmmm. What do you think?

It has been a bit of a tricky week for Lib and Jake. After the Islanders' Movie Night challenge - which revealed a clip of Jake saying he "didn't want to rip her clothes off" Liberty was understandably feeling upset.

But the pair vowed to move past the drama, after Jake reassured Liberty that his comments were made at the beginning, his feelings have developed since, and that their relationship is better than ever.

Or is it?! Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
