Liam Reardon got to celebrate his birthday in the villa on Thursday and fans can't believe his age.

Only a few lucky people will ever get to celebrate their birthday in the Love Island villa and one of them is current Islander Liam Reardon. And as the celebrations unfolded, fans at home were shocked after discovering Liam's real age, with many viewers assuming he was a lot older.

After a quick rendition of happy birthday in Welsh, Liam was treated to blueberry pancakes by Millie Court, who promises she has more surprises up her sleeve.

And a third Twitter user said: "Ain't no way Liam's only 22 now."

Speaking about his special birthday breakfast Liam, said: If it’s made by you, I’m sure it’s going to taste nice. You’ve got that magic touch!”

In other news, fans finally discovered the meanings behind Liam's tattoos. The bricklayer's inkings so far include a star on his back, bird on his arm, a cookie on his bum, 'don't count the days, make the days count' on his right arm and his birthday in Roman numerals across his chest.

According to his tattoo artist Lucy Turner of Lucy Lou's Tattoos, Liam first ever tattoo was his tribute to Mohammed Ali, and it took an astounding 12 hours to complete.

"Liam is a big fan of Muhammad Ali and boxing in general," she told the Daily Star. "He thought he'd be the perfect start to his leg piece. It took two full day sessions which are 6 hours each.

Liam is planning on adding to his celebrity artwork with two very notable names.

Lucy added: "He wants to have a full leg of portraits of celebrities he considers icons. We have spoke about doing Tom Jones and maybe Aretha Franklin too. He's said that his love for older musicians comes from his father."

Love Island continues weekdays at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
