Love Island's Faye Breaks Silence On Explosive Teddy Row

Love Island's Faye Breaks Silence On Explosive Teddy Row

It’s the most complained about moment in Love Island history.

It was the moment that Love Island fans couldn't stop talking about – Faye Winter’s fiery row with boyfriend Teddy Soares.

The scene, aired earlier this month, was so explosive that it received over 25,000 complaints to Ofcom, making it the most complained about moment in Love Island history.

Now, Faye has addressed the controversy in an interview on Lorraine.

Watch the video below.

Speaking to Christine Lampard, Faye explained: "I haven't watched it back. We were living it, we were in the moment, we know exactly what happened and obviously it's not nice for anyone to see.

"I'm embarrassed, I've apologised on more than one occasion and we're over it as a couple and it made us stronger.

"It's such a shame it's been such a big part of the show."

For those of us who may have missed the unpleasant scenes, fiery Faye exploded at Teddy after the movie challenge, in which the Islanders were shown clips from the show.

The movie challenge saw Teddy flirting while in Casa Amor, which didn't go down too well and lead to the highly charged scenes.

Teddy added: "We understand each other quite well, so I understand why she would be annoyed receiving the postcard. It's a surreal moment that would never happen in the real world. I was devastated that I hurt her."

Another message said: "You legit look like a man with a wig on that recent post."

And a third said: "You're in Manchester. Better watch your back b*tch.”
