Love Island: Chloe Burrows's Family Explain Reason For Her Mystery Bruises

Love Island: Chloe Burrows's Family Explain Reason For Her Mystery Bruises

‘She bruises like an absolute peach.’

Love Island has certainly got us talking this season – and it was Chloe Burrows's mystery bruises that left some viewers concerned.

During the girls’ cringe-worthy ‘graduation ceremony’ last week (yes, that means what you think it means), viewers spotted a large gash or bruise on Chloe’s hip, with many wondering how she’d acquired it.

However, Chloe’s family has cleared up any suggestion of drama, posting the news on her Instagram page.

“She bruises like an absolute peach,” they wrote.

“She fell over messing about, that’s how she hurt her hip. She apparently walked into a tree the other day!”

They added that Love Island producers and ITV are on hand to take any questions regarding any of the family’s questions about the Islanders.

“The producers are in constant contact with Chloe’s mum, dad and the people that run her social media,” they explained.

“We can pass messages back and forth but can make general inquiries regarding her wellbeing.”

Well, that's all cleared up.

After a rocky start in the villa, Chloe has become one of this year’s most popular Islanders, having coupled up with Toby Aromalaran.

The people running her social media account while she’s been away have been hosting regular Q&As for fans curious about what’s going on in the villa.

When someone asked whether Chloe’s family supported her decision to appear on the show, the account confirmed they were behind Chloe “one thousand per cent”, however they did add that her dad “did not enjoy the graduation ceremony.”

In other Love Island news, it looks as if Thursday night’s episode will be a must-see.

The teaser for tonight showed a tearful Liberty Poole storm away from a conversation, tearing her mic off and leaving the villa.

Fans speculated that she may be about to split from her boyfriend, Jake Cornish, after both Chloe and Faye Winter suggested that his feelings towards her may be insincere.

Well, you know what we’ll be doing tonight…

Love Island continues weeknights and Sundays from 9pm on ITV2 and the ITV Hub. Episodes are available to watch the next day on BritBox.
