It was a blink-and-you-miss-it moment but luckily for us lots of Love Island fans saw Faye's leap of faith.
One fan on Twitter said: "Why am I crying at the way Faye dived into the pool."
While a second fan wrote: "DID I JUST SEE FAYE DIVE INTO THAT POOL FACE FIRST?!?!"
And a third reacted with: "Can we just comprehend Faye’s pool dive."
Faye has had a lot of big moments in pools this season. For their final date, Faye and beau Teddy Soares were treated to a pool filled with petals.
In between glasses of champagne and tasty nibbles, the pair took the time to reflect on their Love Island journey and spoke about their future.
“I thought I just needed to stay on my own, and I wasn’t going to open up to you but it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done," Faye told Teddy. "From there, we’ve had our ups and downs, more so my fault than yours… I was almost waiting for that opportunity for you to f*** up so I could run instead of falling for you.”
Teddy replied: “I knew, in the back of my mind, we needed it to realise how we can recover from s*** situations.”
Despite being fully clothed, their final date was super romantic. Teddy decided to take things to the next step by asking Faye to be his girlfriend.
What better place to become official than a pool of water and rose petals?!
Faye and Teddy finished in third place ahead of Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank in fourth place. Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran finished in second place and Millie and Liam were crowned the winners.
